Tipping is optional but always appreciated:

• Tour Guide: USD 15-20 per day
• Driver & Cruise Crew: USD 5-10 per day
• Hotel Staff: USD 1-2 per service
• Small USD bills or Egyptian Pounds are easiest to carry.
